Faith is having the word of God within you; you exhibit this God kind of faith by speaking into every circumstance and area of life. A man’s faith is the word of God therefore, faith is speaking, standing on, established in, putting your total trust in the unmistakable word of God. God’s word embodies all that he his; therefore, it should empower us to walk in faith.
The word of God must be so deeply embedded in our hearts that the first
word from our mouth in all circumstances, is faith that pleases God. It takes strong discipline to stay in the word of God and exercise godly faith, at all times regardless of your situation, circumstances and state as the word declares in Isiah 50 verse 7 to set your face as a flint in this case we should set our mind like a flint that nothing will cause your faith to waiver by speaking only the word of God.
It is the word that is embedded in our hearts, it will come through the mouth and God’s word must make up the total inner man. Joshua 1:8 “ This book of the law shall not depart out thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein” the word of God is the power of the inner man that expressed the works of God on the outside.
God knows the devil is defeated; the devil knows that he his defeated. Meaning we do not have to put emphasis on him but on what God gives us to do, going in that confidence knowing nothing will stand against us with God by our side. There is no power greater than the powers of God. God’s presence and power in us, has already defeat
all the enemies that is about and around us; for we rule in the spirit of Christ that has set us apart.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17
Exercise the kind of faith the word of God empowers you with, whatever they are. It will come naturally from within whenever any situation arises. The God kind of Faith cannot fail for God cannot fail, and God is his word. The authority that has been given to you by Christ will allow you to speak in confidence. God kind faith is a productive faith, it brings
home what you have faith for.
The centurion leader when he came to ask Jesus to heal his servant, he did not depend upon his word but on the word of Jesus, in the Luke chapter 7:7 the centurion makes a request onto Jesus.
“Therefore, I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.” Luke 7:7.
The centurion’s faith was recognized by Christ. He depended upon the words that God spoke to heal his servant, believing in his heart that it will happen. With faith in our hearts, professing the word of God from our mouth and believing on Christ Jesus, “we will be able to do all things through Christ who strengthen us” and go through our trials with that confident faith knowing our God is taking care of us and the situation at hand. The word of God in our heart should become our spoken language and faith.
